Second Street Life
You may be experiencing a sense of unreality as a result of being in relationship with a narcissistic individual or religious group. You may try to share your experiences of coercive control, gaslighting, and withholding with your friends and, because the situation is so unbelievable, not even your friends (or family) believe you. But as unbelievable as the situation is, it is indeed happening, and you are beginning to believe yourself.
You know for the sake of your well being you need to make a change, and have reached the decision to come back to you, but don't know how to start. You are ready to do the necessary work of recovery during, or after narcissistic or religious trauma, but you need someone who believes you, believes in you, to come alongside. In reclaiming your own authority, having a life coach can be invaluable, and a game changer. It was for me.

Second Street Life was created for people who are quietly preparing for independence, and who seek a steadier, more self-directed way of living. I work with individuals for whom the old means of survival no longer sustain them, who sense that something inside them has shifted, or is ready to shift, and who want support moving forward with clarity, confidence and self-trust. Often this work begins during a transition, when old ways of coping or relating no longer function well.
My approach is client-based, springing from the firm paradigm that the answers lie deep within the client, waiting to be discovered. I help you uncover those answers inside you which were layered over by the mortar of narcissism, while supporting you with practical tips for loving and trusting yourself again.
Life coaching not only helps you recover your autonomy, but it can lead to thriving as only YOU can, in your own, unique way. To assist you on your journey, I've created a blog and newsletter with helpful insights and practical tools. It's good to have a place where you are not alone, a place on Second Street that you can settle into and call home. Contact me, won't you?

About Me
When I finally came to grips with the truth of what a narcissistic birth family system can do to a person, I was faced with a choice: keep using ineffective coping skills which (though they kept me alive) kept me small and afraid, or I could rewire my inner light and begin a brand new life as fully me. A Second Street to live on, as it were. In that light, the choice was easy, but the second street was challenging, the ramifications of my choice difficult to anticipate. With little help available at the time, I determined then that, when the opportunity arose, I would share with others the gems of what my life coach helped me uncover within myself.
My approach is a hopeful one, coupled with a "boots on the ground" practicality, with workable tools that actually work. When you are ready, I will partner with you to help you find your voice, your true center, and your next steps.
